IBIZA

Hola chic@s chic!! Como ya sabéis, esta semana continuamos con las Islas Baleares, ya que la semana pasada fuimos por Mallorca. En este post podréis leer la cantidad de cosas que hacer en esta isla pequeñita pero muy grande a la vez! Que sepáis que no hace falta viajar al Caribe o a Asia para disfrutar de pedacitos de paraíso, como una de las islas más controvertidas del Mediterráneo: Ibiza.

Hi girls!! As you know, this week we continue with the Balearic Illas since last week went for Mallorca. In this post you can read very things  to do on this  small island but very big at a time! You know you don't need to travel to the Caribbean or Asia to enjoy bits of paradise, as one of the most disputed Mediterranean islands: Ibiza.


























LO MEJOR DE IBIZA:

1) Sin duda el tesoro nº1 de la isla son sus playas y sus calas. Lo ideal sería poder visitarlas todas, pero como hay muchiisiimas aquí os dejo las mas chics:
  • Cala Comte: estupendas aguas azul turquesa.
  • Aguas Blancas: aunque el parking es de pago merece la pena. El agua es muy bonita y te puedes dar un baño de arcilla
  • Sa Trinxa: formada por mini calitas, es uno de los sitios mas bonitos de la isla!
  • Es portixol: con su forma de herradura cerrada parece un lago.
  • Cala Benirràs: es famosa por su ambiente hippie, sobre todo al atardecer cuando los tambores empiezan a sonar!
  • Cala Bassa: muy bonita, aunque bastante turística.
  • Cala d’en Serra: si buscas un lugar tranquilo y sin turistas es el sitio ideal.
  • Cala d’hort: con el  imponente islote de Es Vedrà enfrente.
  • Playa d’en Bossa: ideal si buscas un poco de marcha.
THE BEST OF IBIZA:

1) The best thing of this island are its beaches and creeks. The ideal could be to visit all of them, but there are a lot, so I give you here the most chic ones:
  • Comte creek: beautiful blue waters.
  • White waters: Although you must pay the parking, it's worth it. The water is very beautiful and you can take a bathe clay.
  • The Trinxa: Consist for little creek, is once of the most beautiful places on the island.
  • The Portixol: With his lock closed form, looks like a lake.
  • Benirras creek:It's famous for his hippie ambient, specially in the late afternoon when the drums begin to sound.
  • Bassa creek: Very beautiful, but too touristy.
  • Serra creek: If you find a quiet place and without tourist it's the perfect place.
  • Hort creek: With the bigger islan "Es Vedrà" in front of it.
  • Bossa beach: Perfect if you are lookin for a party .
2) Pueblos Ibicencos: No pierdas la oportunidad de pasear por los centros históricos de las principales ciudades de la isla: Evissa, Santa Eulalia, San Josè, San Juan, San Antonio... Y lo mejor de todo es , piérdete por las callejuelas blancas del centro, en búsqueda de locales originales y rincones secretos.

2) Ibiza Towns: Don't lose the oportunitie to walk on the history places of the principal cities in the island: Ibiza, Santa Eulalia, San Josè, San Juan, San Antonio...and the best is that you losee for the white streets in the ceentre, find original places and secret corners.

3) Mercadillos: date un paseo por sus famosos "baratillos" hippie, se puede encontrar todo tipo de artesanía: joyas de plata, hamacas, mochilas, cinturones, bañadores, camisetas y vestidos…

3)Markets: Walk for his famous "hippie markets", you can find all kinds of crafts: silver jawelry, sunbeds, rucksack, belts, swimsuits, sweters and dresses, and a lot of original and chic things.

4) Las Fiestas: Anímate y sal de fiesta, en Ibiza nunca sabes como va a acabar la noche! Y si tienes ganas de marcha-marchosa la oferta es espectacular: las discotecas de la isla son de las mejores del mundo (aunque no aptas al presupuesto de cualquiera… 30-60€!)
Los principales locales son:
  • Amnesia: ubicada en el centro de la isla, cerca de San Rafael, muy famosa por su fiesta de la fiesta de la espuma.
  • Ushuaia: con las sesiones alrededor de una maxi piscina… actualmente està muy de moda!
  • Pacha: uno de los iconos de la isla, y es donde se celebra la famosa sesión de David Guetta “F*** ME I’M FAMOUS
  • Privilege: en el centro de la isla, cerca de San Rafael, es la discoteca mas grande del mundo.
  • Space: el paraíso de los fans de la música electrónica, ubicada en Playa d'en Bossa.
  • Keeper: Es Ideal para todos … vamos que es gratis, y todo lo que es gratis es bueno, no?

4) Night Parties: Lively and leaves party, in Ibiza you never know how it will end the night! And if you feel like to live a really party the spectacular deal: the nightclubs of the island are the best of all the world!(although not all fit the budget... 30-60€!)
The principal nightclubs are:
  • Amnesia: It is in the center of the island, near to San Rafael, It's very famous for its party: the foam party.
  • Ushuaia: with sessions around a maxi pool ... actually is very fashionable!
  • Pacha: It's one of the icon of the island and is where the famous David Guetta celebrate his famous sesson: F*** ME I'M FAMOUS".
  • Privilege: In the island centre, near to San Rafael, Is the biggest nightclub of all the world.
  • Space: Is the paradis who loves the electronic music, it's in th Bossa beach.
  • Keeper: It's perfect for together ... it's free, and all that it's free it's good, no?

5) Pasar el día en Formentera : una isla preciosa a unos 20 Km de distancia… así que si tienes tiempo no te lo pienses y vete a conocer otro paraíso (el ferry lento cuesta entre 18-30 € i/v) .

5) Spend the day on Formentera: It's a beautiful Island abou 20 km to Ibiza... so if you have time don't think two times and go to meet other paradis (the ferry cost between 18-30€ i/v).

6) Disfruta de las puestas de sol: se dice que las de Ibiza son las mejores del Mediterreneo. Platges de Compte, Ses Variades, Sant Antoni, Benirràs, Cal Vedella, Cap des Falc’o, Cala de bou… son sitios perfectos para disfrutar de este momento.

6) Enjoy  the sunsets: Are said that they are the best in the Mediterranean. Compte beaches, The Variades, Sant Antoni, Benirràs, Cal Vadella, Cap des Falc'o, Bou creek... are perfect places for enjoy this moment.

TRANSPORTE:

1) Como llegar?
  • Avión: La opción más fácil es el avión. El aeropuerto está a 10min en coche del centro de Ibiza.
  • Barco: Hay ferrys que salen desde Barcelona/Denia/Valencia. Lo mejor es que puedes traer tu proprio coche y ahorrarte así el alquiler. (Hay diferentes compañías: AT Ferries, Balnearia, Transmediterranea… )
TRANSPORT:

1) How to arrive?
  • PLANE: this is the easier option. Theairport is 10 minutes from the center of Ibiza.
  • BOAT: There are ferrys that go from Barcelona/ Denia/ Valencia to Ibiza. The best thing you can do is to bring your own car so you don’t have to rent it.
2)Como moverse por la isla?
  • Los autobuses urbanos no son la mejor opción pero hay   pocos y cubren pocas rutas. Desde el 1 de junio hasta el 30 de septiembre hay un autobús nocturno (“Discobus”) que conecta las principales discotecas y zonas de ocio nocturno. El billete cuesta 3€ y el servicio funciona de 00.00 a 06.30am
  1.  Ibiza-San Antonio: 1,95€
  2. Ibiza-Santa Eulalia: 1,85€
  3. Ibiza-Playa las salinas: 2€
  4. Ibiza-Aeropuerto: 3,20€
  • Bicicleta: ideal para moverse en ciudad y en las playas más cercanas, pero alguna cala queda inaccesible.
  •  Moto: perfecta si vais en pareja, podéis llegar a todos los rincones de la isla.
  •  Coche: si vais en grupo es la opción perfecta! Hay una infinidad de agencias de alquiler… busca oferta y no te lo pienses o como ya hemos dicho os lo podéis traer de casita y sin pagar, por barco!!
  • Taxi: es la opción más cara, pero te puede salvar en ocasiones!
  1. Ibiza - San Antonio: 15 € ( Aproximadamente)
  2. Ibiza - Aeropuerto: 11 € ( Aproximadamente)
  3. Santa Eulalia - Aeropuerto: 18 € ( Aproximadamente)
2) How to go through the island?
  • The urban buses are the best option but there are few and they do little routes. From 1 of June to 30 of September there is a night bus that (“Discobus”) that connects the principals nightclubs. The ticket costs 3 euros and the service works from 00.00 to 06.30am.
1. Ibiza- San Antonio: 1,95 euros
2. Ibiza – Santa Eulalia: 1,85 euros
3. Ibiza – Salinas Beaches: 2 euros
4. Ibiza – Airport: 3,20 euros
  • Bicicle: perfect to move through the city and in some beaches, but in some others it’s impossible to access.
  • Motorbike: perfecti if you go with your couple, you can arrive at all the corners of the island.
  • Car: if you go in group is the perfect option!! There are lots of car renting acencies… find an ofert or bring your own car with the boat as we said before!
  • Taxi: it’s the most expensive option but it can sabe you from some ocasions!
1. Ibiza – San Antonio: 15 euros (more or less)
2. Ibiza – Airport: 11euros (more or less)
3. Ibiza – Santa Eulalia: 18 euros (more or less)

COMER:

Algunos platos típicos son el arroz de matanzas (con cerdo), la ensalada payesa de pimiento y patatas, los embutidos como la sobrasada, el butifarró,  el ventre de porc, las “crostas” (pan con tomate y aceite), los “pebrassos” (las setas locales mas buenas), la coca de pimientos,  todos los guisos de pescado, el bullit (pescado con patatas y arroz caldoso),  la borrida de rajada (rayas, patatas, huevos, perejil, ajo, almendras, pan fritos y aceite), la cigala ibicenca, el flaó (pastel de requesón y hierbabuena) y muchos más! La oferta gastronómica es inmensa y no decepciona.

EATING

Some of the typical dishes are the rice of matanzas (with pig), payesa salad of pepper and potatoes, sobrassada or butifarró, the ventre de porc, the crostas (bread with oil and tomatoe sauce) , the pebrassos (local mushrooms), the coca de pimientos, all the fish stews, the bullit (fish with potatoes and rice), the cigala ibenca, the flaó (cottage cheese and peppermint cake) and more!! 


CUÁNDO IR?

Para ir la mejor opción es evitar la temporada alta: mayo, junio, septiembre y octubre son los meses ideales…

The best months to go are: May, June, September and October.
