Hi girls, today I would like to
explain you a beautiful saga: The Selection by Kiera Cass. What I will do is to
explain how many books are in the whole saga, because it is not only a trilogy.
As Divergent trilogy has some side books within it.

Selection is an oportunity that they only have once in their life. The oportunity
of going out of living the life that they have to life because they where born
in a determinated family. The oportunity for them to be in a world full of
beautiful dresses and expensive jwellery. The oportunity of living in a palace
and to fight for the heart of the handsome prince Maxon.
Sin embargo, para America Singer, ser seleccionada es una pesadilla porque significa alejarse de su amor secreto, Aspen, quien pertenece a una casta inferior a la de ella; y también abandonar su hogar para pelear por una corona que no desea y vivir en un palacio que está bajo la constante amenaza de ataques violentos por parte de los rebeldes.
But for America

Es entonces cuando America conoce al príncipe Maxon. Poco a poco, se empieza a cuestionar los planes que ella había hecho para su vida y se da cuenta de que la vida con la que siempre soñó puede no poder compararse con el futuro que nunca se atrevió si quiera a imaginar.

Synopsis
De las treinta y cinco chicas llegaron a palacio para competir en la Selección. Todas menos seis han sido devueltas a sus hogares. Y solo una conseguirá casarse con el príncipe Maxon y ser coronada princesa de Illea.
America todavía no está segura de hacia dónde se inclina su corazón. Cuando está con Maxon, se ve envuelta en un romance nuevo y que la deja sin aliento, y ni siquiera puede imaginar estar con nadie más. Pero cuando ve a Aspen en los alrededores de palacio, los recuerdos de la vida que planeaban tener juntos se agolpan en su memoria. El grupo de chicas que llegaron a palacio se ha visto reducido a la Élite de seis, y cada una de ellas va a hacer todo lo posible por ganarse a Maxon. El tiempo se acaba y America tiene que tomar una decisión.
Sin embargo, cuando ya cree que ha llegado a la conclusión definitiva, un suceso devastador hace que se lo vuelva a plantear todo de nuevo. Of the thirty five
girls who arrived to the palace to fight in the Selection. All less six have
went back home. Only one it is going to marry with the prince Maxon and
be crownded as Illea's princess. America is actually not sure about what her
heart does. When she's with Maxon, she involves in a new romace that leaves her
without breath, and she even can't imagine being with anyone else. But when she
sees Aspen around the palace, the feelings of the life she and Aspen planed
come tho her memory. The group of girls arrived to the palaced and the Elite
has been reduced to six of them, each of them is going to do everything they
can to get Maxon. Time is finiching and America has to decide something.
But when she things
she has arrived to the conclusion, a terribal success makes she replaning it
everything. And while she fights to find where her future is, the rebels want
to destroy the monarqui, every time they become stronger and her plans can end
with any esperance tha she will have a happy ending...

Mientras esta situación se vuelve cada vez más acuciante, la disyuntiva en la que se encuentra America tampoco es mucho mejor: debe escoger entre su primer amor, Aspen, y el príncipe Maxon, quien poco a poco ha ido conquistándola. Eso sin tener en cuenta que el príncipe debe escogerla a ella también de entre las seis seleccionadas que podrían convertirse en su esposa y que aún permanecen en palacio. Luchas políticas, amor, violencia, dudas… America deberá tomar decisiones que cambiarán el curso no solo de su vida, sino de todo aquel que la rodea. La elegida es el trepidante desenlace de la trilogía La selección.

Aquí vemos que La Selección no es una trilogía como todos piensan ya que "The Heir" es el cuarto libro. Saldrá a la venta el 5 de mayo en EEUU pero aún no sabemos cuando llegará a España.Here we see that The Selection is not a trilogy as everyone thinks because "The Heir" is the fourth book. It goes on sale on May 5 in the USA but I still do not know when it goes our in Spain.
